TURBOEDIT EACV QUESTION?

OK Is there a way to delete my Eacv in turbo edit?
Im in the process of building a intake manifold.
Is there a manual way to fix this problem to trick the ecu into thinking its still hooked up? ???
It will be a pain in the ass to make a mount on a round manifold.

THANKS BRIAN

Re: TURBOEDIT EACV QUESTION?

CAN i just leave the coolant lines attached and run vacuum ports on intake mani to the sensor with a block off plate of some kind???
And mount it on the fire wall?

Re: TURBOEDIT EACV QUESTION?

its standard operating procedure to plug it in then ziptie it to the brake lines and call it a day :y

for the people that need a visual:

shitty spot for the IAT too if your too lazy to mount it in the intake also...

Re: TURBOEDIT EACV QUESTION?

So just take it off and leave it plugged in?
will it send a cold start up reading to the ecu all the time?

Re: TURBOEDIT EACV QUESTION?

look at how the eacv works. you can attach a filter to one side a barbed fitting into the other. run hose from the barbed fitting on the outlet of the eacv to a barbed fitting threaded into the intake manifold. bam functional eacv...

i think i under stand what your getting at.
Which of the 2 holes would you put a filter on. and then run the other hole to a vacuum source.
And i would just leave the coolant plugged in on the 2 nipples.

Re: TURBOEDIT EACV QUESTION?

Forget the coolant, and it doesnt matter which hole you hook it up to.

Put the IAT in the intake manifold Dustin...or at least in the charge piping dude :l

Re: TURBOEDIT EACV QUESTION?

Dustin only did that on his ITB's. His current setup has a functioning IAT.
