Turboe'd but Rich!!

Well i recently installed a t25, FMU,(on a budget), 450cc injectors, and it seems to be rich..im running narrowband A/f so i cant really tell..i give it gas to rev up but nothing..It boggs .. Any one know what could be causing the richness..?
BTW im getting no CEL.
Any help appreciated..

Well I bet this is a joke but anyway. I'm suprised your car even started with 450s and an fmu dude.
You probably have a gallon of gas sitting in your muffler right now waiting for the right time to explode!

the 450cc injectors will make a car run rich on their own because their about double the size of stock. And then with the fmu your adding more fuel.An fmu has no way take fuel away it can only add it when it's told to.

You at least need an electronic afc hack. but they suck to.

What he's saying is stock injectors on fmu is better than 450's on FMU, however, an FMU is a poor excuse for fuel management. You should be running an afc hack at the very least, but would get the best results and reliabilty from a chipped ecu. Read the stickies

The problem is that you are running 450cc injectors with an FMU.

An FMU increases fuel pressure to increase flow, therefore you do not need larger injectors. You are giving your engine wayyyy too much fuel.

Swap out the 450's with your stock injectors and it will run better.

You should probably retard your timing at the distributor to. If you have a motor that you can adjust timing at the dizzy anyway.
I read about an accord turbo project on cb7tuner.com where a guy just ran an fmu and then fully retarded the timing at the distibutor and his car ran fine for over a year I think until he could afford to go with uberdata.

And that is with stock injectors correct...see i would get TE but not sure on how the stuff works..I send off to get a base map for 450cc injectors and a certain psi?...And thats it..How would i tune it..?

You keep talking about "budget" but you spent more than TE would have costed ???

Yeah, but to effectively tune TE you need, a burner, laptop, WBo2 (unless you find someone with one or pay for dyno time :P , ostrich (preferably)

FMU > afc IMO, can't justify $200 or whatever on a afc when you can put that towards chipping your ecu. FMU could easily put a turbo project under $500.

So don't tune it. Run a basemap, still better than an FMU, cost you all of 20 bucks to find someone to burn you a chip.
