Turbo Installed car wont start
 

just installed a turbo on my car and now it wont start i thought maybe it was the map sensor since i had to but a black box on it so i took it off and put a new map sensor on and tried but no dice the engine turns over but nothin then we checked for spark and no spark so somthin is making my car not give off spark. i then preceeded to change the entire distributor still no spark i mean the coil,and everything is in the distributor i dont know what, after work today we are gonna put a obd2 scan tool on it to see wtf is wrong because my 99si is sitting at my friends house under his garage. anyone have this happen ????? Suggestions??

Did you try new plugs? You could have a fuel delivery problem which is making the plugs go dead. I would look there first. Wires could have been mixed up. And a problem I had with a car of mine once was a plug-in up by the dash somehow came unhooked and wouldn't let the car start, plugged it in and voila, might be something to check anyways. :-\

What did you do to the timing? Did you try to retard it or something before staring it up?

reset the ecu? make sure it's still plugged in? what exactly is this black box? perhaps wiring was mixed up?

i found the problem it was a blown capacitor in my missing link (black box) it fried my ecu somehow good thing my fiend just totaled his si and had an ecu and all kinds of other parts that he took when they totaled it i got it running but i have no missing link so im runnin with a CEL my setup is just a t20 at 5 lbs of boost for now no intercoler yet no bov till next week or so i have an fmu (shitty i know) runs rich.
