turbo edit with high boost?

if you use turbo edit with the ng48 and a stock map sensor, and richin the ---- out of the last columns, and runlike 15 psi, it will turn the CEL on but are there any other side effects? go into limp mode? what happens if you run the afc hack at like 15 psi, same thing?

The hack can run high boost, not great doing it though, he pushed his to 17psi

I want in on this thread to, Im looking to run 16-18psi

Got the TE chipped PM6 from chris and a gm 3 bar from Hotrex but that wont be installed til I go get her street tuned

There is a tested 2.5 bar bin and the sensor is cheap. Do it the right way. :)

Why would you get a cel with TurboEdit? I never got a cel at 15psi with TurboEdit.

Re: turbo edit with high boost?

well the column headings are all fucked up on the 2.5 bar bin, first off i dont know how to fix that, second, from what i have seen the 2.5 bar bin still only goes to like 11.5 psi???? how is that any better than 10.3 psi?

Re: turbo edit with high boost?

1.8 bar is about 11.5 psi a 2.5 bar map is good to about 21 psi or so so their is a big differnce and spend the 25 dollars and do it the right way. Read some and learn instead of blowing up your engine.

Re: turbo edit with high boost?

well then why doesnt the 2.5 bar bin file just have accurate column headings to like 20 psi then? if there were a good 2.5 bar bin that had correct column headings i would do that......it seems pretty tough to get any straight foward answers on the whole 2.5 bar bin situation :-\

Re: turbo edit with high boost?

The current TurboEdit was released long before any of this x.x bar stuff was do-able. I would assume the upcoming new version of TE will correctly display all column headings.

In the meantime, there are ------sheets in the pgmfi thread that will show you the actual column headings.

Re: turbo edit with high boost?

the 2.5 and 3 bar versions of the latest stable code release come with column calculators to make up for the missing headers.
