For use of external EEPROM, nope, just socket.

For datalogging, you have to assemble the MAX233A and install it in the ECU.

here are more dummie questions.

1) do i have to replace my stock o2 sensor with wideband sencor?
2) if #1 is true, how do i connect 02 sencor, wideband unit, and ECU all together?
3) is turbo edit just datalogging program? or it's program that regulate ARF like crome and plus datalogging feature?
4) turbo edit can see boost like uberdata?

hey, i'm new to the ghettodyne thing, and i'm about to set it all up.......but i'm not running turbo, i'm running a high compression dohc zc w/cams and ITB's...i was wondering if i could use ghettodyne to run the ITB's(since my map sensor reading would be screwy...) and i obviously wouldnt need 450s, so could i use the factory obd0 injectors? thanks for any help...great thread guys

No.

N/A

It's a full featured tuning program. Maps, Revs, Extra features, and Datalogging.

4) turbo edit can see boost like uberdata?
TurboEDIT is an editor, not a ROM. There are boost ROMs compatible with TurboEDIT that see boost. They are available on the website.

5) urberdata have datalogging feature?
Don't know, never used it. Try the thread labled "Uberteg Software"

The ROM stands for "Read Only Memory". This term is used identify the programming code used in the microcontrollers ROM. This code is what is physically run by the mircocontroller to make, in this instance, the car operate.

The editor is an external program (seperate from the car's programming) used to modify components of the ROM file.

Ghettodyne, and TurboEDIT are both editors that modify the PGMFI ROMs...

Make sense?
