Tunning W/O Dyno?
i have a scope in a shop that can read a/f ratios from the exhaust but i don't know how accurate it is since it is attatched the the end of the muffler, can this work if i don't run a cat and straight through to the muffler?
And obviously this won't be on a dyno can it still be tuned by RPM? is it 12.5:1 during full boost my turbo puts or when turbo kicks in? WOT? I'm running SAFC2 with DSM 450's on T3 chrylser(5.5-6PSI) turbo D15b7. |
Re:Tunning W/O Dyno?
How would you put load on the car? You can't just spin the tires in the air.

Re:Tunning W/O Dyno?
If the O-scope is mobile you should be fine as long as the sensor in the tail pipe is a wideband sensor and street tuning.
Remember that it takes those gases a brief moment to get all the way to the end of the tail pipe...it will lag behind your RPM and MAP sensors. |

Datalog with a wideband while you drive. Then tune to your A/F
