Tuning Vacuum with 450's ??

Hey Guys,
I'm just curious what you guys think about tuning the vacum portion of my map before I actually get the turbo installed on my new setup. I'm assuming it shouldn't change from when the turbo goes on. I want to hookup the DSM 450's and get it idling fine. Then tune the Vacum portion of the map so thats done and eliminates tuning time when my turbo is installed. Any ideas?

I was just going to mount the wideband in the stock sensor location on my z6 exhaust manifold.

If you put the 450s in, yes, you'll have to retune your map. Turbo or no turbo.

...I guess I don't really understand what your "question" is. Start with a -40% cut across the vacuum map. That will enable you to get the car started and drive around. It'll be about 6% rich, about 2500 rpms up.. but you have a wideband, tune it out. Idle should be pretty close.

Yea, I have a virgin p28 here to work with with a z6 basemap using uberdata. I'm going to install the 450's a week before I get the turbo installed so I'd like to have as much done as possible before hand. So, I want to work the idle out and tune the vacum portion of the map.

I honestly thought with the 450's and changing the size of the injectors in UD to 450(not 240), it would have accomodated the size and got the idle sufficient without having to take away 40% across the vacum portion of the map. Yes I will have a LC-1 to tune with.

Hehe.. ya, uh, that is what the injector scaling function in UD did for you.

YOu didn't mention anything about software or anytrhing.. I was just telling you how to tune it. ;)
