Same here. I'll have my buddy "boost n LS"'s LS/Vtec Turbo map dyno tuned in a few weeks. Possibly next weekend we'll see. Also I'll be retuning my LS map that I think I posted on your site, so I'll update that as well.

 

yes and sorry i've read that quite a few times and it didn't quite answer my questions.

I just wanted answers to these questions and i'll be happy;
Can I use the stock/base PM6 ignition Vacum side on my turbo map(dual), if its in vacum shouldn't it perform the same as a non boosted car? the reason i ask is most of the maps i've seen have ADVANCED vacum ignition and your write up doesn't tune IGNITION maps, is it even suppose to be more advanced as in the 40's ignition timing?

my second question was what the values in the fuel maps meant? time? milleseconds?

fuel values in TE are injector pulsewidths in MS (milliseconds)

no you cant just use the same ignition values as in the stock PM6 maps because the column headings are different in the PGMFI code...

i have no idea where you have seen that most TE maps are advanced in the ignition maps...never seen what you are talking about myself, and Ive done a lot with TE

 

ok that means i'm d/l some fucked up maps cause all of them at the same column heading have timings that are advanced to 40-47 degrees whereas a basemap has around 34-38 degrees, take a look at rorys map on your TE bin deposit xenocron and same with D15boost bin they are all advanced at vacum, maybe i'm reading them wrong...i don't know.

 

Mine are advanced that way because the engine feels more responsive, and doesn't do nasty things to my plugs or make any expensive-sounding noises. Not terribly scientific, but it works for me.
