Re:tuning for vaccume
Same here. I'll have my buddy "boost n LS"'s LS/Vtec Turbo map dyno tuned in a few weeks. Possibly next weekend we'll see. Also I'll be retuning my LS map that I think I posted on your site, so I'll update that as well.

Re:tuning for vaccume
fuel values in TE are injector pulsewidths in MS (milliseconds)
no you cant just use the same ignition values as in the stock PM6 maps because the column headings are different in the PGMFI code... i have no idea where you have seen that most TE maps are advanced in the ignition maps...never seen what you are talking about myself, and Ive done a lot with TE ;) |
Re:tuning for vaccume
ok that means i'm d/l some fucked up maps cause all of them at the same column heading have timings that are advanced to 40-47 degrees whereas a basemap has around 34-38 degrees, take a look at rorys map on your TE bin deposit xenocron and same with D15boost bin they are all advanced at vacum, maybe i'm reading them wrong...i don't know.

Re:tuning for vaccume
Mine are advanced that way because the engine feels more responsive, and doesn't do nasty things to my plugs or make any expensive-sounding noises. Not terribly scientific, but it works for me.
