i dont know much about turbo edit. im not an obd0 guy but from what i hear bre is pretty good. there's a post about it on the first page maybe you should check that out. you can run 20+ psi but tuning is key just like everything else

Re: Tuning turboedit b16-boost

Ive got a sohc vtec running off the 1wire solution for TurboEdit and using a 2.5bar map sensor. Works and drives like a factory turbo car.

You have to splice the maps still in TE for vtec setups, its not a big deal and works fine. I'm assuming that since the 2.5bar works perfectly, the 3bar works the same since it was debugged first.

You'll feel much better if you learn to do it yourself...honestly, sounds like the way to go :)

Re: Tuning turboedit b16-boost

I was told by the creator of PGMFI that turboedit isnt able to tune teh high cam fuel and ignition maps for the B16. Do BRE instead. If you need a basemap I have one in xenocron's bin directory under "other".

My B16 is tuned for 12 psi on stock internals and T3 .48/.60 450cc injectors, 2 bar GM map, but you can alter whatever vakues you need when you burn teh chip.

EDIT: This is not limited to only the B16. It is all DOHC Vtec motors.

The rev scalars are not done for TurboEDIT yet... still in the works...

BRE seems to be a good alternative for high reving OBD0 motors. However, it does require a PR3 ECU. You can't get away with using a PM6...

I'll talk to Ben to see if he will allow me to support this ROM for those users who are used to the TE itnerface.
