Tuning Help

I am running TurboEdit on my DOHC ZC with T3/T4,450s,MSD 3bar and a Staion FMIC. I am useing the LM-1 WB for tuning and so far its running pretty good. I have my AFRs very close to where they need to be. I am running at 8lbs now and I want to start turning up the boost(this motor has a built bottom end)to 12-15lbs. The question I have is, what do I do about timing? Just for refrence I looked at a couple of spots on my MAP to see what I am running now.

800RPM-- -15PSI=19.08
6300RPM- 11PSI=24.12

I know that the DOHC ZCs like alot of timing NA,but is this too much for a turbo motor? I don't "hear" any detonation right now but I know that you can't always hear it anyway. Any suggestions? ???

you'll have to shut the car off before you totally take your foot off the gas so it doesn't go lean (that scares me on the street). if it idles at all it'll look like the plugs are leaning out. the only thing you'll be able to see otherwise is if it's detonating bad and leaving specs...more than likely you'll hear that before it happens.

I was hoping for a little more "high tech" way to find out :-\

Honestly...pulling your plugs is the 'Best' way to see if you are getting any detonation. Get a magnifying glass and if you see any trace amount of aluminum specales on the electrode...may be a good idea to back off timing a touch and add a smiggion of fuel.

Well...it depends really. Obviously you need to take into consideration what its reading on the wideband.

Adding a tiny bit of fuel will just take a little heat out of the combustion chamber really, but if you are already overly rich (10.8-11.4 AFRs) adding fuel wont do anything except waste gas.

OK, I will pull the plugs and check them. I think I will add a "smiggion" of fuel, I'm running 12-12.5 at 10lbs at WOT so I guess I could richen that up a little.

Thanks
