Tuning a 2.3 ford turbo ?

What options is there to setup and tune a ford 2.3 mustang turbo setup other than converting to a vane meter and using the turbo ecu ? I have a speed density 89 mustang 2.3 that I want to turbo and dont want to convert to a vane meter and turbo ecu. I see they make an aem stand alone for the v8 mustangs but havnt found one for the 4 banger. They make a chip for the stock ecu but that's not really what Im looking to do. I want to be able to have it dyno tuned with wideband and maybe datalog. Anyone have any ideas ? I see most people on here have hondas but my honda I'm staying all motor with some juice every now and then. THis is Twiz by the way a few of yall know me but I can't log in under that name for some reason and it wont send me a password to my email addy

There isnt really anything for n/a 2.3 computers. Like a standalone or the svo/tc computers are only option. The LA computers are really good and there are tuners out there to convert them to use a 5.0 maf and mess with all the timing/fuel tables. A megasquirt is another good cheap choice, i was gonna use one on my old 92 4cyl when i was gonna turbo it.

i am doing this exact same setup right now, all custom ----,

there are two things you can do,

go with the vane meter setup, it's not all that hard.. just make sure you get the 88 T-bird coupe stuff ECU, VANE meter

OR

TEC2, haven't heard much about it, but i know it can be done !! ( tottal engine control )

Megasquirt. DIY standalone. It has built in MAP sensor. You can use is to control fuel and spark, easily on your car, using the ford EDIS system. Lose the distributor, and use the newer dizzy-less coilpack setup.

I'm sure there are ford 2.3 sites that have lots of info too.
