Tuner toys direct fit injectors. your experiences

Anybody have any personal experience with these? I have bought a few things from tuner toys, and they've been alright, but ive heard from a few people calling tuner toys garbage...

The reason being, I have been using some dsm 450's wih my setup as long as ive had it. I first started having CEL with a fuel delivery code... usually in 5th gear @3500 rpm on the highway. I checked everything else, and it was alright. I then upgraded from the stock FP to a walbro pump, and the problem was still there.

So has anyone got some feedback about the tuner toys injectors and their reliability? maybe the mod here who founded TT can give some input. ;D

THat code is usually the result of bad wiring. Either to the resistor box or if its a MPFI swap of some sort. Craig at tuner toys sell quality stuff and stands behind it. I wouldn't hesitate to run any one of his products.

I had a set of "stock fit" 440cc Precision Devices injectors. Didn't fit my manifold at all. Problem was that the tip (at the pintlecap) was to wide.
Must say that their service was great and took back the injectors, free of charge !
In return i had them ship me a walbo :P

I buy a lot of stuff from them, but in my experiences with the injectors, atleast when they first came out. I had 2 sets fail out of 3. I think they might of gotten them straightened out, but I usually just stick to DSM injectors or go bigger with a set of precisions. He was always very very helpful in straightening things out. Very good guy/business.

Let me guess, EF Honda?

Most Percision injectors are stated not to fit EF Manifolds for that reason.

I have 660cc Sitting in my tool box. Didn;t get them from Craig, but same stuff different supplier (Mike @ LSD) and I
researched them again RCs and decided to go with Percisions. Ya RCs are the best, but for a budget build Percisions are Great.

yea i have their tt 550 injectors, not the precision ones.

http://tunertoys.zoovy.com/category/....tt_injectors/

only problem i had ( 91 civic obd0 with a6 manifold/fuel rail) is that the tabs on the injector clips don't line up and you have to cut them off with a razorblade, took about 5 minutes to do all 4 of them so no big deal. other than that they are pretty damn similar to the stock injector length and width. they also come with all of the seals needed and idle just like stock, have not had any problems witht them at all.

now i just need to figure out how to tune the bastard, :)

Hey Guys,

Figured I would post up about our injectors. There are three different product lines being discussed in this thread so far. I'll give you the run down on each.

The original injectors we sold were the CorrectInject line. They were custom built for us by a company local to us, and were the ones that developed problems early on. The failure rate was way to high for us, so we ended that deal right away. We continued to honor the warranty on those injectors and still do, even though the supplying company is no longer making them. If any if you experience any issue with those injectors, we'll take care of it for you.

After the CorrectInject issues, we approached Precision Turbo about offering their injectors. After assuring me that their injectors fit Honda applications, we began offering them to our customers. Shortly after, we learned that their "Honda" injectors did not fit all Hondas. The nose of the injectors were too wide to fit into some Honda intake manifolds. For those customers that had fitment issues, we offered RC Injector replacement sets at crackhead prices to make up for the hassle. We have never had a Precision Injector fail, the reliability has been perfect, and they are an excellent product. It was only the fitment issues that we had to deal with.

This left us still without a good economical alternative to RC injectors. We wanted to be able to offer a cheaper injector set, that would fit all Hondas. We approached a larger established fuel systems company and comissioned them to start building custom injectors for us, using the OEM injector bodies that Honda originally used. We knew that this would eliminate all fitment issues, and since we were using the OEM bodies, that reliability would be excellent as well. These are the TT Injectors that you now see on our site. Our experience so far with these injectors has been great. Not one failure, not one fitment issue, we are very happy to be able to offer them. We even supplied a set to Hondata, for use in a Honda Challenge EF race car. (That car is currently leading the points race for the H5 class in that series.)

Overall, we are pretty happy withe these injectors. Great Fitment, Great Reliability (so far.), and a much cheaper alternative to RC Injectors. At $219 for a complete set of new injectors, they are much cheaper than the equivalent sets from other companies. We still offer RC Injectors, and the Precision Injectors on our website, right alongside our own injector line.

Hope that helps,

Craig

^^^ Solid info, and an excellent display of commitment to customer satisfaction. If I ever have a problem with my DSM 450's I know where I'm going for injectors.
