Re: trying to understand the safc.... got some q's

let me explain it with an example:
lets assume you have your th point set lo:20 hi:60
and your settings in low are -40% accross and high are -30%

with this setup until 20% throttle afc will be using the low fuel setting whic is -%40
higher than 60% throttle -30% will be used
between 20% and 60% some value between -30% and -40%
i.e. at 50% throttle -32.5% will be calculated and be used (some basic math..)

you dont need to do anything with NE points.. not sure but i think its some stuff with the maf type cars running rich at gear changes

sensor types should be 6/6 if im not wrong.. apexi has tested the product and adjusted according to some specific sensors and given them numbers so that you choose the right one

but how do you know if you are right putting -30% or so ? i imagine -30% (fuel), you are leaning your car , right?

yes -30 is leaning but if you use bigger injectors its going to be compensated.. a wideband o2 should be used getting a good a/f ratio set

ok, i was wondering too, when you set with SAFC, you run your car and you have a A/F in that moment, then you gradually down or up the % for to get the a/r correct or the A/F you want.. not?

ty :)

P.D That's the samething with a chipped ecu?
