Just copy that kit from Burien Toyota that you were asking about a few months ago. The only part that I can see you having trouble finding is the MAP sensor. But even then, you can find those in the yard if you know where to look. (MKIII Supras aren't THAT uncommon)

For eng management they're using just injectors and i think the 2 bar map sensor.. You think the samE MAP can be taken out of the mk3 supras?(wtf is that btw? i dont know much about supras). it doesnt even specify what map sensor the kit comes with... ughh.. well i guess i'll throw in the fmu and after x-mas when i have money again i'll start callin junk yards for the injectors and 2bar....

What's a 2 bar map btw just to be used with the new injectors?

For now i guess the o'l check valves will be hooked up ... . sigh.. its pathetic i know.. Im just happy that i got the entire kit so far for $300, and payed it off witht he money i had sitting in the bank...

------------------------------------------

I would go with 450's and an SMT6. They're what I'm going to be using on my new setup, can't wait
yea for 500+.. ..

But THAT IS ANOTHER OPTION... you know.. IF i found an old mr2 turbo(celica alltracs wayy to rare) at the junkyard then i'll just throw the rods / pistons and maybe check out the smt6 route after a month or so and boost 10ish. WEll thx for everyone's 2cents. Later

If i were you i would sell the Dseries manifold and deltagate and buy a SSautochrome wastegate
Im sitting in class right now actually.. and i just dropped the d-seriees manifold off in construction so they can make and weld a new flange onto it with the outline that's being made by my other friend in advanced auto from an identical manifold as mine....

Hope that made sense...

But yeah... u think SSautochrome wastegates are quality? I've heard the good and bad of them on the forums. Anyone have pics of the damage?.. (vouchers)

Thanks again.

Do you even know what you're getting into?

First off, it's been proven that the 310cc injectors from a MK3 n/a supra are way too small, and are very unsafe for even stock wastegate boost levels. A 2 bar map with the 310 injectors works, but it's not as reliable and you can't adjust your fuel tables at all, so I wouldn't really trust it. Plus, with the added cost of the MSD BTM, you're not that much father form an SMT6, or hell, even an APEX'i AFC.

3SGTE internals will not fit in a 5sfe. You could put your 5sfe head on a 3sgte block, but that's pointless. You'll lose displacement, and you'll still have a shitty head on there (compared to the 3sgte head). For the future, just buy forged pistons and rods, port the head and get some nice cams.

ok.

on a diff note.. the oil IN line came off a civic... and its like 5 feet long ... im teeing into the front of the block (oil press)... so the distance fromt he source to the turbo inlet is like a foot... can i still run the oil in with all that extrra steel braided line? will it still get oil?

i dont know what to do on thoes map celicas. mine has a huge gate style MAF. i used an fmu and it ran like crap. took it off and it ran alright with some larger injectors. running the maf pre turbo. with timing retarded from the dizzy. motor was fine until i finaly spun a bearing.

Rod bearing?

The best bet with Toyotas is to find a TechTom dealer (good friggin luck) or put in a standalone. Ebay has a lot of good deals on different systems or just build a Megasquirt for it and call it a day.

Either that, or convert that MAF sensor to a map w/ the SMT7

In regards to the oil line it is fine if its way to long the oil is under quite a bit of pressure so it will get there either way.Why not just shorten it though?
