Tell me what tunning toys i need!
 

looking to do some real time tunning on mine a few buddies cars..i have the essentials right now but i need to complete the set-up.
heres what i have.
willems dual power
lm-1
chipped p28
laptop
buying cromepro today.

so what is left that i need? hardware and software.
ostrich?
what dataloggin cable do i need to get?
do i need ecu control to datalog with?
and this laptop im using i dont remember it having a usb (its an older one that my friend is donating) is that a problem? how do i get around that with ostrich and dataloging?

ive got uber right now and have been burning chips for a bit now so im not a newb on that subject...but this will be my first attempt to tune real time...any advice pointers would be greatly appreciated.

ps ive scoped out xenecrons write up on his "tuner set-up" and would like to do something similiar. just not sure if im missing something here.

You will love the Ostrich (too bad its backordered at this moment) and you will need either a serial or USB data cable.

If you laptop has a serial port and no USB ports...you will also need some sort of PCMCIA card that adds a USB port to your computer. They go for like $30-50 online these days or in electronics stores or maybe Staples.
