quick question though. It is ok to use two zif socket stacked on each other? The reasons I asked is because when I bust open my cpu, to my surprise it was already chipped. But they didn't use a zif with a clever to release the chip, it's one of those that you just force the chip in or pull it out by force, thus it is extremely hard to put in a new chip. So what I did was stack my zif socket with a lever on there, then my chip goes on the new zif. I was wondering if this would effect anything, since the distance to travel for the signal have increase a bit.

I'm no expert, but in OBD1 ECUs I've seen people double stack regular sockets before in order to clear the 74---- ICs, so I'd assume that would be fine to mount the ZIF on a previously installed socket

It's OK... glad you like it. A lot of people work hard to make it the best it can be. Thanks again! :D

Yeah it wil work...me and my neighbour did it like that...cause there is this little thing that sits to high to clear it with the ZIF alone
