tbi turbo
ive gone through the faqs and i havent seen anything like what im trying so im gonna ask a question...im not working on a honda... its a tbi sohc 1.8 I 4 in a pontiac lemans.... im sure i can fab in the turbo, fmic, lines, pipes, fittings, and do the needed machine work on the head, but im not sure about the engine management on this unsupported platform, like i said its a tbi engine so will restricting the return line from the injector boost fuel psi enough to match boost and avoid detenation... this seems to be the ticket on spfi engines.. or would fabbing a stand alone fuel rail to come in under boost be a better idea.... ive got 20 years mechanic experience and i like a challenge, i can build anything i need and have access to most if not all the parts required to do a turbo set up....but thought i would look in here before i started in on a fools errand. any help appreciated

Re: tbi turbo
wow....its map based, but the rest is greek, and doubling the injector size is going to be a treat...gm may have put a slightly larger injector on the 2.0 tbi engine but after that ill have to really get creative and maybe find a single injector out of maybe ...oh...say a tbi 4.3 gm product..so i gfet the bigger injector and thats a can do, the afc hack and the apexi safc are new terms to me....

id have to say FMU...either that or incorporate an extra injector controller and put a couple cheap dsm injectors in the charge piping.
