Tapping into TPS and MAP for Zetronix dataloggin

which wires do i tap into to get the MAP and TPS signals for the zetronix wideband? and is there an easyer way then splicing into the tach to get the RPM signal?

and whats the diff between a normal ground and a sensor ground?

there are 3 wires heading into your tps... one ground, one power and the third one which is variable... find variable with a voltmeter...

use a clip like in the attached pic to tap into your rpm...

I think for the zeitronix one you have to buy their 3.5 bar map sensor.

RPM= A21
TPS=D11
MAP= D17
sensor signal wire
you don't need to buy a zeitronix map sensor, even though I use 2 of them one for boost signal, and one for map. (waste of money)

The resistence between the ground points causes a small voltage diffrence.
the sensors are grounded to the same point so there is no voltage offset. The ecu uses the same ground or measures the small voltage at the sensor ground point.

yeah ground your ground where the sensor is grounded too thast way they read the same. thats why most a:f gauges are required to ground to the engine where the ecu is grounded so you get the same readings as the ecu

hmm where is the ecu grounded? this probably explains why my a/f gauge sometimes illuminate some leds around the led it actually should illuminate.

i think thats how the disco light afr gauges work, doesnt just light up one to be exact, but many in the general area to look ricerific

yes but all honda grounds need to be wire brushed and cleaned up really good for it all to work right.
