I swapped ignitors last night in mine and it seemed to fix the problem. It was pretty bad driving home yesterday when it was hot.

I tried every place around here: the zone, advance, some other one of the same quality and they all said they had no clue how to test em. I had to swap em into a known running car to test mine, knowledge in those places round here sucks.

ok so my buddy finally let me use his AEM wideband. at idle i am fluctuating between 13.7-16 i dunno why, and when i half throttle it i am in the mid to high 10s and then when i full throttle it, the gauge reads out ---- because i went WAY under 10. so my numbers are really bad. so it must be just my map thats messin me up!!! anyone in the chicagoland area want to tune my car beer, food and money will be provided!

your map is not going to cause your tach to bounce around.
swap dizzys with a known working one.

got the ignition coil tested and thats good. i looked at the cap and rotor and they were pretty much corroded so i just replaced them. when i did it felt better but i was still sorta getting tach fluctuation. but it wast till higher RPMs, so it has to be an ignition problem. man am i stumped :1
