10psi using stock internals and turboedit to tune my ignition and fuel.

500 miles on the turbo setup and still going =P

Turboedit... It's an ecu program.

you can run AFC with it at 10 psi....

The AFC hack is only good till around 12psi and you have to start with 450cc injectors.

The D16Z6 will handle 12 and under very well, but anymore than that and your taking a chance..

8psi would be completey safe and worry free ( more or less ).

Anything less than 6psi is a waste of a turbo IMO.

AFC hack is only good until 9.25 psi/10.65 psi for OBD0/OBD1+. Sure, you can boost higher, but if you don't know why you shouldn't you don't know how to properly set up an AFC hack to boost that high.

Atlee's Z6 is running 8 psi daily, 12 psi in high setting. We're running Uberdata tuned for a GM 2 bar MAP, should be able to take advantage of the whole 14 psi before the 15G is maxed out.

My stance has always been that the D-series bottom end will take insane amounts of power... it's just that anything over 10 psi starts wearing out the bottom end very quickly. Cruise around at 7-8, pop the high boost setting when it's time for a joyride, and you'll be fine.
