still no luck...(UP DAMN DATED!!)

welp, i still havent gotten my car running yet. towards the beginning of the week i ordered a computer from turbohf so i know the computer is good now and it does the same thing that the p28 i chipped did. when the jumper is cut i get a code 21 and it runs in limp mode, with the jumper in i get a solid cel and it wont even start. with the old obd0 pr4 hooked up there are NO codes. i have an 88crx si with a 93 ls turbo ----...xenocron obd conversion harness... distributer is wired correctly. i have driven it down the road and it runs like a damn scolded dog untill 4 grand...(.48 .63 spools hella fast ahha) im pretty much at a loss now. i have came down to it is something im doing when i burn a map...i open a p30 map, checksum removed, rev tools, fuel tools, and boost tools added do everything just like every write up ive ever read save the map to a file open flash burn click on the 27sf512 and use the chip and buffer addressing that comes up, erase and blank check the chip, load the bin to the buffer, click program chip and the verify it then plug it into the ecu and BAM solid cel.

Which engine harness did you use? Did you use the integra LS harness or the SI harness?

Oh ---- I see your problem. You HAVE to address the chip addressing to start at 8000 and end should be FFFF

Re: still no luck...(ecu problems...)

right now is says
Start Address in Hex 008000
End Address in Hex 00FFFF

are you saying i should delete the 2 zeros infront of each...?

Make sure you erase the chip first and THEN burn it too...might be helpful to verify that the chip is blank before you burn to it.

Also, burning from within Crome using the BURN1 will help alleviate any Offset issues...

Sorta the same thing happened to me when I chipped my ecu. I just figured I fucked it up, and got a xenocron ecu and it worked fine.

That's because Xenocron is the ------- bestest!

OK! i figured it the damn hell out! it WAS the chip addressing. i was looking at the F&B here on my desktop not on my laptop and the addressing was different. BUT now i have a ckp sensor code, number 4 i believe. i rechecked my dizzy wireing and i have it wired up like the paper came from xenocron and the wires to the ckp sensor arent even hooked up? its like a blu/grn and a blu/yel what the heck do i do with those!?
