Ok mine installed easily. You download and unzip drivers. Then you hook up the burner to the USB. It will open new hardware wizard. It will ask to install driver and you want to do it manually. Then you point it to the file you unzipped the driver to. It should do the rest by itself. Make sure you are putting the chip in correctly into the burner. Bottom to the top with the ones on top empty. Top being cable end. Notch on chip goes up towards cable.

lets start from basics then. cuz it woulnt work. Either becuz im ------- dumb, or somethings wrong, im going with choice 1. 8)

ok. in the device list under ports it says.

Communications Port (COM1)
ECP Printer Port (LPT1)
Moates.net USB Device Driver (COM4)

All my files were saved to drive C: and then extracted to a folder that is in drive C: as well. Flash and burn 1.0 is also saved in drive C: (dont think any of that matters though)

what the hells going on?

When you open the flash burn and have the burner pluged in does it say...found autoprom usb version:05.02.A? make sure your chip matches the supported chips. if it says read only the you cant burn it.if you can click on load file to buffer. it should show the desktop.find what ever file you have to burn into the chip and double click it.then in the window at the bottom of flash burn it says file loaded:c\\windows\desktop\.........bin.then hit program chip.it should take it.if not there is something wrong with your file if you modified on of the stck maps from T.E.download the ng26 bin and burn it for practice.

ijust had the same problem with mine and you wont belive it but it was a real easy fix you knnow where the bar that says supported chips are in the top left? click on what you chip you are using pro at29c256 and look at hex code on the right and thats it cause before you can do anything to a chip you have to click and pick what chip you are using ;D hope that helps
