On the NE points you have to lower the top before it will let you lower the bottom. I'm assuming the top is set very high in the rpm band? Lower it to where you can actually use it and then you can lower the bottom half.

Ok, go down the whole list of them. Start at the top and lower ALL OF THEM as far as they go. This should get you what you want if I am understanding it correctly.

It looks like you are talking about the high and low maps.
The high map doesn't go lower because vtec isnt going to engage lower than that. The high map is for the high cam profile, the low map is for the low cam. So Just set everything on there and you'll be fine. Remember HIGH = when in VTEC.

Doc, I think you are thinking about the throttle point.

Dude did you even read your instruction manual. The V-AFC is so simple to use. All I did was have my friend sit down with me for 5 minutes and thats it. Now I tune mine and all my friends cars that are all running V-AFC's and S-AFC's. read the book if not find a friend or a performance shop that will show you the basic's. To me it's hard to type in words what to do. I live in Maryland if you live close to me I could meet you on my day off. P.M. me if you do.

Hmmmm...well he said NE-points. ??? I'm assuming he can't get the NE settings low enough to adjust below 3000rmp, right? I'm confused.

DA'OH! I'm an idiot

You are right, I skimmed it too fast, saw "high" and jumped the gun. You can't set the high NE point any lower for precisely the same reason tho. You can't set VTEC any lower than that. It is working perfectly. Fuhgeddaboutit.

PS Sorry Doc. I'm all hair-trigger tonight I guess. :-[

lol, no problem. I wasn't even thinking about it being a VAFC anyways. I'm stuck on SAFC settings. :-[ I guess that explains it. :-\
