someone who knows please help
 

i have a 1997 accord lx 4cyl auto with obd2 ecu. i bought an OBD1 1995 accord ecu, #POB-A51. the 28pin chip that should be replaced reads M38256AP-F5 OKI Japan 4182604G.

now i've been told this and that by people before but i am getting closer to install date and i need to get my ems figured out soon.

can i have this ecu chipped and use uberdata to tune it. i'd be sending it to projekteg for his chipping services but i dont want to have an ecu chipped that wont work.

IF this setup will not work, can someone tell me what they have done with accords before for EMS, and please, i'm trying to chip it, not use an afc, so dont suggest that as an alternative unless its the only possible EMS i can use. thanks

i already told you, get a p06, p05, pr4, p75, or any obd1 civic/inegra ecu (except p07). you're pob is worthless for uber data :-\

You are also going to need an OBD2a-->1 conversion harness.

ali g, if you remember, i already bought a conversion harness from you for the POB (which is now worthless) anyway i can swap for one for the PO6? i'll PM you

The OBD2a-->1 harness will work on the P06 just the same :)
