----! someone help...chip burner issues?
k im using a Batronix 3.3eprom burner. using the same chips i always use (the 29c256 chips in the FAQ). i have tried Crome and Uberdata, tunes that i know for a fact have worked. EVERYTIME im getting a solid CEL...
im trying to trouble shoot this kids ECU, so i grab another P28 that im pretty sure works and still get a solid CEL ---- so i grab MY personal P61 that i know for a fact works and i get a solid CEL still, on my tester and in the car (my GSR).
the burn in "Prog-Studio 5.26" goes fine, says its cool, but sometimes when you 'compare data' it says different? either way (checksum error or no) it is doing the same thing?!?!?!?!
any ideas as to what the ---- is going on here?

Maybe you're getting a solid cel for a reason and it's NOT ecu related. Just a thought.

although you might be right about the desk thing, i dont clean the ****** and it just sits on/in that mess
also i leave it plugged in all the time, is that a problem? i had an issue before that i thought was solved by leaving it unplugged untill i needed it but i have been using it for like the last 3-4months wihtout a problem with it plugged in. last night i was ------ with it and unplugged it and when i went to retry again this morning i noticed it wasnt on so i pluggeg it back in and sucess, mothafucka works....
