Default ----! someone help...chip burner issues?

k im using a Batronix 3.3eprom burner. using the same chips i always use (the 29c256 chips in the FAQ). i have tried Crome and Uberdata, tunes that i know for a fact have worked. EVERYTIME im getting a solid CEL...

im trying to trouble shoot this kids ECU, so i grab another P28 that im pretty sure works and still get a solid CEL ---- so i grab MY personal P61 that i know for a fact works and i get a solid CEL still, on my tester and in the car (my GSR).

the burn in "Prog-Studio 5.26" goes fine, says its cool, but sometimes when you 'compare data' it says different? either way (checksum error or no) it is doing the same thing?!?!?!?!

any ideas as to what the ---- is going on here?

I don't know much about Batronix......but do you have to set it to start writing at 0x08000?

I would try one of your chips in another car.

Maybe you're getting a solid cel for a reason and it's NOT ecu related. Just a thought.
