Someone explain the new TE boost feature
I've searched and I can't find any info on using the new boost feature in TE. Do you just import the stock map, switch to your size injectors and put in a boost efficiency of 100% and increase or decrease from that?

Re:Someone explain the new TE boost feature
Exactly.
However, I would use 115% as your first, and leave from there. |

Re:Someone explain the new TE boost feature
hmmm why put a 115% fuel efficiency?
|
Re:Someone explain the new TE boost feature
So you have a 115% increase of fuel.. NA you'll run 13.3-4:1.
Soo, you want to run a richer AFR than you would NA.. that is why you're going over 100%. 115% is a good start.. dialing in about 112%-115% for your target 12:1. Obviously this all depends on where you start, as to where you end up, and what turbo you're using and so on and so forth. But, as a base, it's safe to start at 115%. |
Re:Someone explain the new TE boost feature
Also, what is step retard?

Re:Someone explain the new TE boost feature
Method of compounding the user defined boost amount in 3psi increments.

Re:Someone explain the new TE boost feature
ohhh ok I got it... ;D
Thanks for explaining....I thought it was that, but I've been kinda slow these days. I haven't used it on my neighbours boosted car. He was already running hella rich with the B18 tables... |
Re:Someone explain the new TE boost feature
By the way Parker...I am loving these new features...you da man baby!!!
You could almost call these 'semi-tuned' maps instead of 'basemaps' |
