some serious problems heLP!!!!!!!!!!

i finally installed my turbo set up! i running t3 super 60 dsm 450ccs log manifold 8psi uberdata so i finally put everythign on the car and everything going good so i finally finshed and i go to start that car and it didnt start so the next day took off the resistor box for the injectors and no start it was trying to crack but getting no fuel or spark so i was like ok im gunna try and use my friends ecu he has a p28 uberdata rc 310 it started right up ran really ruff and there was no resistor box in ( you can smell alot of fuel) so i take his computer out and my car starts up for 1 sec and dies so today i mount my new intercooler and all piping and rewire the resistor box i think the right way and still car wont start so then i call my friend again and put in the ecu it started right up again but still running really ruff so then he put in my ecu his car started right up but then was boggin out im running 450ccs and his running 310ccs so could the 310 and 450ccs make a diffence also my computer is a cali computer and it hadd the chip in it already im still unsure if the resistor box is right or not or if i did anything esle wrong can someone please help me :(

Holy ----. Your sentence structure is complete ----. Can I buy a period or at least a comma?

First off, without any structure its hard to understand what you are trying to say. Second, you jump around too much. You can't change multiple items at once. Put the 450's back in with the resistor box. Then work with the tune for Uberdata. Im sure its just the .BIN you are using is not good for your set up. Or post the bin and let me take a peak.

I 2nd that. Does your CEL go off after fuel pump prime, no start? Does your CEL stay off when you try and start it?

Dude I got the same ------- problem. I tried burning multiple BIN's taking away upwards of about 30% of fuel from a known good basemap from my setup, and my car still runs pig rich.

Here was what happened:

previous Setup from when car was purchased:

Greddy SOHC Kit (92-95)
Vehicle: 94 DX Hatch
Motor: 92 EX Motor 93 EX Head (Built) P&P full Gude Valvetrain
MSD Inline Fuel Pump
Stock Injectors
FMU 12:1
Stock Fuel Pump
MSD Ignition w/Blaster Coil

car wouldn't make boost and tripped the o2 sensor a lot and under load, but I figured that problem out. ECU gave o2 sensor code, but in reality a injector failed. Fixed that by tossing my my stock ls injectors, car made, bosot, but leaned out uptop due to the built head.

Now my current setup is:

Greddy SOHC Kit
Walboro 255lph
DSM 450cc Injectors
Motor: Same
MSD Ignition /Blaster Coil
Chipped p28 Running uberdata

from the moment we installed the chipped p28 and injectors the car ran like ----, even while creating a new basemap and all.

We Checked:
Wiring To Resistor Box & Injectors many times even with a multi-meter its all good.
we unplugged the spark plug wires one by one since the car sounds like it's a 3 banger. The CEL is constantly on, it does not turn off. Checked for codes and there is none. The car fires up on the stock p28 with no chip fine no CEL Light, but runs crappy ofcourse, but with the chipped p28 it's got a constant CEL yet still runs like ----.

We also tried unplugging each injector and the car still runs like crap. I did notice that my old buddy who moved chipped the 1k resistor on my ecu in the wrong spot, could that be the reason for that?

Idid go get more resistors today and we are gona do chip it in the right spot and see if that helps, but other then that the car runs like ----, and still runs pig rich. The A/F gauge is pegged in the green. I know it's no means of tuning, but atleast I know if it's moving the car is not running pig rich.

Vacuum is weird . . . usually at idle I got about 21 or 22 hg's right now the car is at 10hg's with slight pressure on the pedal and if u let your foot off the gas maybe 11-12 hg's max.

We changed nothing else around asside from adding the resistor box, chipped ecu, and the 450's and that was it.

SORRY TO HTREAD JACK BUT I WOULD RATHER NOT HAVE 2 OF THE SAME THREADS GOING

If anyone can please help out it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A resistor soldered into a random location is generally not a good thing. You should take care of that first.

If the car is still running poorly, the basemap probably needs work.

Re: some serious problems heLP!!!!!!!!!!

If you have solid CEL you have soldering or chip issues. That would account for your problems.

Thanks man . . . i'll be sure to look into the soldering and chip issue. We are gona fix that resistor tonight. my friend re-checked and soldered stuff lastnight so hopefully tonight it will fire up.

So you think it's a chipping issue and not a resistor box or injector or msd issue, corect? Car runs Rich beyond belief. Got my wideband today, so i'm gona plug that in, just don't want to foul it out running so rich.
