How much boost do you plan on running? If your going the FMU route yes I'd highly recommend getting an upgraded fuel pump. And I wouldn't go with one out of another OEM vehichle, especially a used one. Invest some money into a 255 LPH pump. I personally think an Intank pump is easier to install, but thats just me. The inline pumps tend to be pretty loud when their running and I think you've still got to run the stock pump along with the inline...You will need some check valves or a missing link (or a MAP tricker thingy . But if you plan on going over about 8 psi, I'd just save your money and buy some 450's and an AFC. It's more reliable and you'll get better tuning out of it.

Pump installation really depends on car generation for the model.

Like 88-91 Civics and CRXs have to have thier tanks dropped, where as 92+ have an access panel under the seat. Very quick to install the 92, not so quick on the 91..

As far as the FMU + "MAP sensor Tricky Thing". If you don't know what it is, and how it works, why are you installing it on your car? That's just personal theory.

Read the Engine Management FAQ. Get some basic information about what you're attempting to do. You may have your idea swayed in a direction that is cheaper, more reliable, and more flexible in the long run.
