SOHC ZC soon to be booster: Need help determining which Injectors to use

Hey everyone. I'm brand new to the board so be gentle. I searched but I couldn't find any straight answers. Here's the setup. I'm gonna be running 8 psi with a t3/t4 on a sohc zc. I've got a vortech fmu to run with it but I'm not sure what it's set at yet (10:1 i think). Should I go with the dsm 450's and run a fuel pressure regulator to cut them out a bit or maybe run factory injectors? Any input is greatly appreciated. Also I'm in Colorado at high elevation incase that's to be considered into any factors. Thanks for any responses.

You should throw that piece of ---- FMU in the trash ad chip your ECU. Then run the 450's.

Well eventually (meaning when my broke ass can afford it) I'm get a neptune setup. I can get my hands on a Apex-i SAFC unit for free. Would that work ok? I'm just lost. I can build a NA no problem (not much to it though) but this is gonna be my first turbo setup. So the dsm 450 injectors and a regulator? I talked to a few turbo dohc zc guys around here and they said if you let the 450's flow fully they'll just flood the engine because of our high altitude and thin air. But thank you for the posts. How much is this chipping idea and where could i get it done?

You can sell the FMU to cover the cost of the chip kit and resistors with money to spair to buy a cheap sodlering iron.

Simipified....

450's are plenty for the 8lbs sohc motor.
FMU= engine bye bye....that flatline is just too unpredictable. I've seen plenty of fmu setups in my day....but with the low cost of chipping and self tunning devices now a days.....that 100 bucks or so for that fmu could be used somewhere else, on something more reliable. Go search and ask questions. Everything is here.

You make them yourself with a chipburner and an editing software like crome/uberdata, its really not that hard, although you'll need a chip burner which can be obtained from ebay for like $40 for a cheap one or the moates burn1 is like $85. By FAR the best way to go when boosting, you'll be able to make more power and do it more reliably. Whoever invented the fmu should be shot.
