The annoying thing is that it comes and goes. Sometimes I can't hit boost at all in 2nd or 4th unless I am over 3500 before I floor it. 1st hits 3500 no problem, so no buck/hesitation. 3rd is almost always perfect. 4th is all problems untill 3500-4000 and 5th is hit or miss.

My supercharger has an electric clutch, so I can turn it off. When off, and I floor it in any gear, I have NO problems. The problem is ONLY under boost.

I switched my Ignition1&2 and Ignition3&4 to be with Ign1 and Ign2 SMT6 last night. No difference.

Older Subarus (al least all 2.2 legacies) only have a 6 tooth crank pulley are something small. So trying to run the ignition directly off if that signal is a bear (or so I have been told by a tech).

Bypass the SMT6 & run stock ignition.
Hook up a dwell meter going to your coil<s>. Then check it with the SMT doing ignition.

Scope it if you have to.
