smc on a bmw?

I was wondering if you could use an smc on a home made turbo setup on a 1989 e30 325is bmw? We were thinking of using a fmu but want something better. Please help.

with the instruction manual the smc comes with it only shows you how to hook it up to hondas, oh well beemers r cool :D
