SMC 500
what do you guys think of smc with 450cc injectors. will it be good for low boost say 8psi? or only high, will i need a fuel pump? its seems better then fmu. i am a budget that is why i am choseing the smc over vafc hack

Re:SMC 500
it works ok, but there are drawbacks. It has no high/lo throttle, so part throttle driving will be a little weird. Also, tuning it takes some time. I have one, and i do use an intank pump as well, but i doubt you would need it for low boost.

Re:SMC 500
How much boost do you run? turbo? motor? other mods? do you drive your car eveyday? so smc can handle 10psi ok? how does your car run?

We are working on getting a dealer agreement with Perfect Power to begin offering the SMT-6, which I hope will be a much better solution... Craig |
Re:SMC 500
get a smc dual because it has a seperate fuel map for under 3k rpm which should handle part throttle cruising that just my guess because i didnt use mine yet

Re:SMC 500
i ran 13psi daily on a d16y7...and its not that the jerkiness is just down low, so the smc dual wont help unless it has hi/low throttle, which i dont think it does.

Re:SMC 500
How come all I hear about is the smc 500 and dual? Does anyone use the smc plus? Is it horrible to work with?

Re:SMC 500
smc plus only is adjustable in 1000 rpm increments
