can i plug a 91 si ecu into a 89 hf and will i see any difference willl it even run

it will run just fine... but the HF engine (head) can only handle about 6000 rpms before it fails... so if you still have that little d15 in their i wouldnt ---- with it... and no, it wont make ur car faster.

PLUS if yours is DPFI, then the ECU will throw the 'fuel injectors' code at you.

Hf's are MPFI you tool.

Oh I'm sorry, for some reason I thought that maybe you could put different engines other than the ones that came in them. My mistake. My HF had MPFI when I bought it.
