Setting Distro ( running TE)

well, my timing is set at about 3 degress below TDC, can i set it at 16 degress and as the ECU sees boost it will retard it accordingly or do i have to set it to a lower setting? Did i make sense?

I know that when you run the hack you have to retard it for the sake of boost but does it matter when your running turbo edit?

When running turboedit set the timing at the dizzy to stock, the ECU adjusts it wen it sees boost.

sweet...hey i missed out on that TE class..----! i been so busy around the house i havent had time to do ----. well, yesterday i reburned anoter chip on TE with a higher FTL set at 4000 RPM's ( i have the big ass Tbird Snail ) so it runs fine and i leaned it out a bit on idle cause it sat pig rich.

My buddy raLF has been helping me.

I like to make the idle portion of the map like this, so I can make 100% sure that Ive got the timing spot on.
You dont have to put it at 15 like this one is, I probably did it to try and bring the idle down a c-hair. Just set that portion of the map to 16, and then set the dizzy to 16 with a gun.
As always, make sure the car is fully warmed before setting.
