Its a b18b obd2 engine, converted to obd1 in a 95 civic
iv connected my harness which is from a Obd1 B motor , to everything, and i have a few spots on the haness left open, and 2 sensors on the engine open.....
the first one on the engine is the crank position which i don't think i need cause it is read thru the dizzy.
The second is on the intake manifold.... its the one in the pic... do i need that with obd1?? and can i use the vac port on it as an extra line, and just not have the sensor wired?

And the ---- on the harness i don't know, there are two clips that look like the map/ TPs sensor clips, but i don't know where they go...maby this harness was from a Vtack engine.... and there is a Square clip on the harness that sits under the intake many, and i cant for the life of me find where that would go, so any help would be great..

cool, so it isn't important lol ... so i was also wondering...i spliced in to the map sensor clip to wire my Motorola 2.5 can i have both map sensors connected at the same time, or should i just disconnect the stock sensor?

And any ideas on the other clips on the harness..... mainly the square clip under the intake many??

 

You can't have both plugged in. What plug? Need a pic.

 

ok the 1st sensor is a Yellow with black stripe and black with blue stripe, and it is pic one

second sensor has 4 wires and is pic 2
3rd pic is both of them, i was just trying to get a better shot on the square one....its dark out now..

 

The square plug looks like an O2 sensor plug. the other may be for the Obd1 evap purge (?)

 

The round two pin with a yellow and blue is the IACV.

Better check on what you have plugged in their instead of the right one.


The other, OS sensor.

 

ok so i put the one in to the iacv and the one that i had in it has a red and yellow, wire..... it reaches to where the purge valve on the D16 motor is, so im a guess that is for the obd1 purge.. but some one correct me if im wrong

and just to make sure i dont need to wire it..

Another Question is about all those ------- Vac lines in the Black charcoal container... I know they run to the break booster and controls for heat and what not?? will boost afect that stuff or do i need to put a one way valve on the line leading to it thanks again for the help

 

Brake booster goes straight to the manifold for predictable vacuum.

 

You should probably download the service manuals and get the appropriate wire codes.
