yes, but those people typically aren't found on HMt.

Yes, I got quoted, my life is complete.

Mush easier to make a FCD.
I've built one for myself... parts are ~5US$.

Here's link for schematics:
http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/fcd/diy_fcd.htm

And here's a pic of my built FCD (tho only 4 wires are needed - gnd, +12V, MAP in, MAP out).

Heh... too lazy, belive it or not :)
Already few people asked me here to make 'em A/F gauges (also built it myself for under 10US$), but again.. too lazy :)

do you have any pictures and a parts list of the af gauge?

I've made it according to this schematics:
http://scirocco.dyndns.org/tech/misc/afgauge/af.html

Here's pic of boards I made (both for A/F meter and FCD) - I've put them in an empty casette box, which is now set by ECU as there was some free space there.

Also, here's pic of A/F gauge, and temp/boost gauge that I've made:

Neat, I also made an A/F meter, used 2 LM3914 ICs to drive 10 leds (red, yellow and green) in a non-linear fashion (higher resolution for the upper and lower part of the voltage range because how nonlinear these O2 sensors are. The first and last 4 leds increment in 0.05V steps and the 2 middle leds have som e bigger steps.

btw, your site doesn't work
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://scirocco.dyndns.org/tech/misc/afgauge/af.html

The following error was encountered:

* Connection Failed

The system returned:

(60) Operation timed out

Re:Self designed Missing link

alright if you guys wanna make an easy missing link then I will send over the wire diagram,. it is much simpler than what is posted, 2 resistors and a diode, about 10 cents of materials and just a few soldiering points. however with this mod is purely intended for use with a FMU or any system that does not depend on the map sensor reading.

5v----->3kresistot------->diode----->Map snsr and ECU
------->2k resistor--------->ground

hard to show the connections with ascii characters, i will post up a diagram if you guys want.

salut

I prefer schematic I posted.... with LM358. Still cheap, you can adjust it, and you're shure it wont screw up signal due to very high input resistance as opposed to what you'we wrote here (only few kohm in yr case - this might alter signal).
