ok so im running a jdm d15b at 8psi right now with a 12:1 fmu.....ghetto i know.....but i have 450's and a walbro 225 fuel pump that i will be putting on shortly, and ive been looking into doin the gm 3bar map swap......this is obd1 BTW a 92 civic hb......but heres the question, i want to get it tuned and was thinkin about gettin the apexi neo since i can get one for fairley inexpensive, but will this work good and get rid of the FMU? and ill b taking it to a shop to get tuned.....just wondering what everyones thoughts were on the neo tho

if you have a afc you dont need a fmu

 

dude you can chip ur ecu for less than $20

 

look man to make a successful project you have to use good engine managment and good engine managment mean control your injectors and control your timming ( spark) ,
so if you use APIXI . you will need sime thing to control your timming

so save thinking and save money and chip your ecu.

alrighty i was just trying to see what my options are......the only thing that sucks bout gettin it chipped i gotta either send it out.....then i dont have a car to drive for a while.....or take it to souix falls which is about 5 hours away....thats the closest tuning shop/dyno.....but they do, do crome.....so ill call and see if they cant chip and tune it if i can get goin down there
