Default safc/vafc terms

I see these terms all the time and i'm extremely confused. Can someone direct me to a link that explains these:

smc, TPS switching points, hi setting, low setting, wide throttle, narrow throttle, low cam, hi cam, ne point, th point, msd btm, lo/hi cross, cross over point

and what does this mean
VTEC engagement point:
Lo cam – Hi cam 5000
Hi cam – Lo cam 4800
