safc and boost

im using an safc for fuel management and when i reach around 7,5 psi i get a cel , can i use check valve on the map sensor or a missing link to raise the boost higher to fool the map sensor ?

Re:safc and boost

No. What elevation are you at, and what settings do you use on the SAFC?

You cannot use a check valve and an AFC. I got my ---- straightened out by Mr. TurboEdit himself when I tried to suggest it. :P If you want more boost, you're going to need 450 cc injectors and a digital SAFC. And if you want more than approx 8-9 psi, you'll need a new map sensor and programmable engine management (or a fmu, check valve, and a pair of big hairy balls)
