SAFC (bad idle problem)

I have a 1997 civic DX coupe that is going to be boosted within the next 2 weeks so i decided to install my SAFC today. My idle is very shitty it goes from 350-700 RPM (I dont have a tach in my car besides the SAFC) . There is some throttle hesitation when i get on it and some backfiring i didnt touch any of the setting just the sensor type, cylinder type, and throttle type. My timing is still stock is that what is causing all this. Help me out.

I havent messed with any of my fuel settings so it should run like stock? Or am i wrong from what i understood u dont need any tuning if your running stock settings.

If all your settings are 0 then you hooked something up wrong.

If you put in bigger injectors then the car won't run like stock unless you lean them out. If you haven't put in bigger injectors then I"m going to say:

My RPM wasnt souldered well enough so i redid it. Car runs perfect now but its RPM's are still reading way lower than they really are.

How much lower? Your guage cluster might be off...
