if a buya a SAFC i don't need to get my ECU chipped right....

Translation:
In this day and age it's to your advantage to chip an ecu and run it as the proper form of engine management. Price-wise will also be alot cheaper as compared to buying a new afc, and ecu's are much more "tunable" than afc's.

I would highly suggest visiting the www.pgmfi.org web site and soak up as much as you can there...they have a wealth of tuning information there.
