S-AFC & FMU
I have an SAFC and a FMU in my 90 integra and it has DSM 450 injecters, i was wondering if i still need the FMU with the SAFC?

Re:S-AFC & FMU
Nope... there's no need for an FMU if you have the afc.

Re:S-AFC & FMU
what can i boots it with the afc without ------- up my motor it a b18a
|
Re:S-AFC & FMU
I dunno... Around 10 psi or so if it's properly tuned should be fine.

Re:S-AFC & FMU
ok i dont need the fmu do i need the check valve to? i want to do 12psi fo boot on my car
|
Re:S-AFC & FMU
No check valves and if it's tuned well 12 psi should be fine.
|
Re:S-AFC & FMU
how high in boots can i go with no check valves
|
Re:S-AFC & FMU
What's all this talk about boots? ??? :P You don't use check valves/missing link with the AFC. How high in "boost"? How high do you want to go? The AFC can handle more than your motor can. If you're running stock internals on a daily driver, I wouldn't go much past 12psi, depending on the turbo.

Re:S-AFC & FMU
right now im running a stock b18a motor, i was just wondering how much boost my motor can handle and im going to be rebuilding me a new motor for performance but i need to know how much a afc can handle on a built motor. i want to do 12psi in my stock and i want to do 20psi on the the one im going to be building, so i need to know what the afc can do cuz im new to the afc.

Re:S-AFC & FMU
I would get some good fuel management if I was boosting 20 psi on a built motor.
