S-AFC???

I posted this a few minutes and I have no idea where it went...
Anyways I just got my S-AFC and I have a question about it, I was reading the manual and it only shows to hook up 6 wires to the ecu but there are 10 wires total. Does anyone know what the other 4 wires are for?

Yeah I have no idea either since I replied to it last time :P Yes, theres 7 wires you connect and 3 you leave out. I think they are the pink, orange, and blue wires. I beleive they are for other model ecu's that use knock sensors, and other various sensors.
just hook it up exactly how Apexi describes and you'll be fine. Don't forget to double check everything before powering up. And then set the AFC settings accordingly and your ready to go.

Cool, thanks
Another question, it also said in the manual not to turn the ignition on while the s-afc was on, well shouldn't the afc come on when the ignition comes on? I gotta stop reading all the warnings....lol

Re:S-AFC???

..uhm, probably while you're installing. Otherwise, you could fry the unit.

Re:S-AFC???

turboEF9's correct. Make sure yu install it with your battery disconnected. Install the 2 grounds exactly how they want them installed ( think it's like 1cm appart), and make sure all your wires are connected right! It doesn't take much to fry an AFC. I hooked up the air flow wires backwards once and it fried the airflow meter part of the AFC.
