Well to my understanding by the check valves releasing some of the pressure that the map would read at boost it is keeping the map frome throwing a CEL.If you now introduce the hack into the equation it will get the wrong readings of whats really going on with the MAP sensor and mannifold pressure.So basically the check valves would also be fooling the AFC making it impossible to tune.

Im not trying to run the hack, i just want to get rid of the fmu and only use the vafc and 310 injectors and the check valve.....is this gonna be possible?

I'm going to try to clear this up.

Yes, you can do this. The 310cc injectors might be too small to use without the missing link so you will have to keep it, which in turn ***** the map up a bit, but it will still work. The hack is just using large injectors with an AFC, which is what you are doing either way.

My suggestion:
Sell the FMU, inline pump, and missing link and buy some DSM 450cc injectors and pocket the rest of the money. Problem solved.

so i should be able to stick with the stuff i have, but instead of havin -35 for my fuel map, i might have -20?
