running rich at idle on the hack !!

Sup guys... My car has been turbod for a while, but its always ran REALLY rich. I have the AFC set at -50 at idle, and the car STILL "chokes me out". My plugs have always ben really black...

I have DSM450s and a stealth TT stock fuel pump ( rewired with a 8guage power wire ) and no AFPR. I have B&M FPR, but I went back to stock one since it made the car run even richer ( like bogged when it hit boost ), and of course the B&M AFPR can't turn the presure down, it can only turn it up...

My IAT sensor isn't mounted in the charge piping yet, ( Y8 intake ), but it is still hooked up, and I can't see it making the car run THAT much richer...

My DX return line is even bigger than the SI one, hehe..

Thinking of trying to use the method on "the old one"'s website where they drill a "relief" hole in the FPR so that it'll lower the FP and the B&M can just turn it back up a little if it needs it...

I can't imagine the 8.4/1 compression would change the enignes basic fuel needs vs stock compression...

Wonder if the DX cam with the Si PM6 is the reason...??

I just pulled all my turbo stuff apart, and the manifold, adaptor plate, turbine housing, and down-pipe looked like a 200 year old chimey in Alaska !!

Any ideas ?

I know this sounds silly, but are you sure you are running rich at idle because you will get the same effect on idle if you are too lean. My car would idle perfect on -22! it would idle like ---- on the reccomened settings.

Also with the B&M which i own two of you can lower the pressure with their fuel pressure regulator. Just turn the nipple ::)

mine was running way rich too, like 9:1 afr, WHen I would start it it would run really ruff for a few seconds then kinda clear up after the O2 sensor kicked it, it ended up being an injector stuck open. If your injectors are really old...like mine were, that might be a possibility.

30K miles JDM DSM 450s, hehehe I swapped them with volvo injectors on a imported engine, hehe..

I think my O2 is shot anyway...
