2) I don't know exactly what Blake is doing to interface with ROMulator. Last I heard, he hadn't got direct interfacing working with it. I think you'll have to use the ROMulator software to update the bin.

i built one
its pretty neat and my ECU works.
these guys are actually putting it to use
since i don't have Eprom burner or the funding to buy one.
i built one for 35 bucks ( groupbuy they had going on PGMFI.org)

Well, see, "ROMulator" is a trade marked Xtronics product with it's own serial communications protocol.
..other "EEPROM Emulators" may use something else and are almost certainly not compatible with "ROMulator".
