Well I agree 100% but if you look at the stickies on the top of the page, you've got a selection of Turboedit, and Uberdata FAQ pages. The links to the websited which you can download the software is in those pages. There's an OBD-0 program (T.E) and an OBD-1 program (Uberdata). I don't think theres too many other frequently used Free editors out there. Check PGMFI.org for the rest of the lineup, but like I said I'm not sure how many other people are using these.

I'm not that much of a newbie, I know about TE and Uber and have been running TE since it took over from Ghettodyne. What i was thinking though was that surely there has to be others out there for different makes like VW BMW GM and other ---- like that. I often visit PGMFi and havent seen anything for models other than Honda

Well the only other Editor out there I know of is ZControl and that was written by the same guy who did Ghettodyne

If you know of anymore I will certainly make a point to add them to the FAQ in a section with links to there respective websites.

This is a predominantly Honda board...although I would be nice to see a different variety out from of our members.

Recruit bitches!

Yup, I have several GM rom editors. Tuner Cat, Tuner Pro, GMPCM,Winbin, GIAC....etc. I have almost all GM ECU definitions and bin definitions. I have Dodge and Ford too. Might get into Nissan but don't know if its worth my time because the shop doesn't get any.

You can do GM stuff huh, a friend of mine has a car (vauxhall) made by GM and it has a Bosch ECU/ECM on it. I can get the numbers off it but what are the chances of being able to do anything with it? he's just put some new cams in it and it idles like ----, we were considering going with a Megasquirt or even hacking it with an AFC but if there is any chance of re programming it then thats what we wanna do, what you think?
