i'm going with the afc hack and don't want to retard my timing at the dizzy due to idle and low end performance. can i get a chip for obd1 just to retard my timing under boost and do nothing else?

get an MSD BTM.. it reduced timing only while in boost.

3 degrees per pound of boost is a ton, no way you should ever need that much retard

Tha AFC hack advances the boost to about more then 10 degrees more than normal WOT...at low boost from 1 to 3-4 psi, so the MSD BTM can't handle that and at higher boost the timing goes to normal, so there you won't need a lot of retard.

AFC doesn't advance timing, the ECU does because you're running 'leaner' then normal...

The AFC doesn't have any control over timing (infact the only wire you connect thats relative is the RPM signal)

The afc is not really ment to be used with a 40% correction. if you do small corrections then your fine. Why not just get the uberchip.. then use the afc to fine tune it. Its $100

Blake (Uberteg) himself has yet to sell a single chip for $100. He keeps hooking people up.

Hatchblack, now called PseudoSilvia, on HT is doing most of the sales for him now. I don't know that any more deals like that are forthcoming... I was surprised when Blake admitted he let people Jew him down like that, $100 is nothing for what you get.
