resistor box power wire?
 

which wire am i supposed to tap as power into the resistor box? im installing DSM 450's on a d16z6. i see right behind the drivers side shock tower there are two large wires, one yellow with a black stripe, and another...i think black w/ a white stripe. am i supposed to tap off of the yellow/black wire for power in?

The big black one is for your tach and comes from teh dizzy. you have to splice teh injector harness and use the resistor box on the grounds. the weird colored wire that is diffrent from teh rest is GROUND. there is no power that needs to be routed to the box. please look at the faq.

the schematic didnt help me very much. i tapped into all the black/yellow wires off my injectors and ran them into the same 4 colored wires coming out of the resistor box. the last wire coming out of it is red w/ a black stripe. i assumed it was a power wire that went into it?

no that is the ground wire to the chassis to your car.
